Handout</div>MANILA -- The Philippines is opening a pavilion to showcase its culture at the Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan.Themed &quot;Nature, Culture, and Community: Woven Together for a Better Future,” the pavilion has more than 200 woven panels created by artisans from across the country.It also has a film-inspired anime façade that honors Japanese culture. It also features an artificial intelligence-powered installation called “Dancing with Nature.” The pavilion also has an area for live performances, where artists from the Cultural Center of the Philippines will perform daily.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1744281401081Photo-209.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/>The Philippine Pavilion in Osaka, Japan. Handout </div>It also has immersive digital installations, a Habi Gift Shop where guests can buy artisanal crafts, a Hilot Wellness Space where they can get a massage, and a Hain Takeout Counter try Filipino food like adobong manok sa gata and halo-halo.“The Pavilion is a showcase of our culture and a heartfelt expression of friendship, respect, and shared aspirations with our Japanese partners,” said Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene Garcia-Albano.World Expo 2025 Osaka is opening on April 13, but the Philippines hosted an exclusive media preview on April 9. The response from the international media has been &quot;overwhelmingly positive,” said Tourism Promotions Board Chief Operating Officer Marga Nograles.After the expo,some artworks in the pavilion will be housed in the National Museum.
