MANILA — The Light Rail Transit Authority hopes that the right-of-way issues hounding the second phase of LRT-1 Cavite Extension project will be resolved soon.

LRT Administrator Atty. Hernando Cabrera said they have been fast-tracking the right-of-way acquisition for the project’s two additional stations namely Las Piñas and Zapote.

“So, pina-fast track namin iyong pag-acquire ng right of way natin kasi may mga around 30 percent pa na kailangan na lupa para maisakatuparan natin itong Phase 2,” Cabrera said in a television interview Wednesday, June 11.

“We’re hoping na probably within this month or next month, ma-resolve natin iyong mga certain issues doon sa kailangan natin na mga right-of-way para maitayo natin iyong Las Piñas station,” he added.
