ABS-CBN News/File</div>MANILA — ABS-CBN Corp’s total consolidated revenues for the first half of 2025 reached P8.28 billion, up 6 percent compared to the same period last year, driven by content distribution, advertising, digital and various global initiatives, according to a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.Content Production and Distribution generated a total revenue of P6.35 billion from January to June 2025, representing a 29 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024, the document said.Advertising revenue rose 27 percent while consumer revenue increased by 34 percent.“Regular advertising revenue benefited significantly from improved ratings performance of leading primetime shows, including “Batang Quiapo,” “Incognito,” and “TV Patrol,” the country’s longest-running news program,” the company said.“The film division delivered strong box-office results from &#x27;And the Breadwinner is…&#x27; and &#x27;My Love Will Make You Disappear,&#x27; with robust performance in overseas markets,” it added.Digital advertising also grew 5 percent, buoyed by the improved performance on iWant, Kapamilya Online Live, and the expanded presence on other third-party platforms such as YouTube.  It added that iWant’s continued subscriber base expansion, both domestically and internationally, also helped boost revenue growth.Live events also contributed significantly through BINI’s World Tour, which began with their sold-out performance at the Philippine Arena. The world tour continued across 14 cities, including Dubai, London, Vancouver, Toronto, and 10 other major US cities.ABS-CBN Global staged 16 events in total across international markets, “further contributing to revenue growth,” the company said.The collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network was also launched during the period, which featured the participation of both Star Magic and Sparkle in the Pinoy Big Brother house.Total consolidated net loss for the first 6 months amounted to P852 million, or an improvement of P1.27 billion or 60 percent compared to the previous year’s P2.13 billion, ABS-CBN Corp said.The company is committed to continue serving the Filipino audiences here and abroad by improving its own platforms, expanding its partnerships and collaborations, as well as in broadening its distribution channels.ABS-CBN Corp is the parent company of this news website.<div> </div>
