DOTR Chief Aims for MRT-3 Changes

MANILA (UPDATE) — The MRT-3 resumed its normal maximum operating speed of 60 kph along the line as of 10:28 a.m. Friday, its operator has announced.Earlier in the day, the MRT-3 said a signaling issue was reported at a wayside signal entering the Santolan station.The glitch prompted MRT-3 to implement a speed limit of 30kph on the northbound route from Ortigas to Cubao.A total of 20 trains are currently in operation to accommodate passengers, MRT-3 said.
