MANILA -- Phoenix Petroleum wants to install electric vehicle chargers in some of its gas stations nationwide.In a statement, Phoenix Petroleum said it is partnering with V-Green Charging Station Development Philippines to install electric vehicle charges at some of its gas stations.Under the agreement, Phoenix will lease designated station spaces to V-Green for EV charger deployment. Three EV charging stations are already being built in some Luzon stations, as company officials visit potential sites in Visayas and MIndanao.Phoenix said this makes it the first fuel company in the Philippines to collaborate with V-Green to expand the country’s EV infrastructure.Phoenix General Manager for One Retail Kim Ira Cabaccang said the company is proud to work with V-Green for more sustainable transport solutions. &quot;This move reflects our dual-energy approach, combining traditional fuels with emerging clean technologies to meet the evolving needs of Filipino commuters,&quot; she said.Earlier this year, V-Green Global Charging Station partnered with Meralco to build more electric vehicle charging stations in the Philippines.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/7/30/meralco-partners-with-2-vietnamese-firms-to-build-ev-charging-stations-1643" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Meralco partners with 2 Vietnamese firms to build EV charging stations</a></div>
