MANILA - ABS-CBN Corp and Ayala Land Inc have signed the &quot;Deeds of Absolute Sale&quot; for the purchase of a portion of the Lopez-led firm&#x27;s property in Quezon City.The sale covers 30,000 square meters of the 44,027.30 sqm property of ABS-CBN Corp.&quot;On 20 August 2025, ABS-CBN Corporation and Ayala Land, Inc signed the Deeds of Absolute Sale upon the compliance with the conditions precedent,&quot; the company said in a disclosure to the stock exchange.ABS-CBN and Ayala Land signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the sale of the portion of the property last February 27, 2025, subject to certain conditions, including clearance from the Philippine Competition Commission.As disclosed earlier, ABS-CBN will be consolidating its operations in the remaining 14,027.30 sqm of the property. Proceeds of the sale will be used to partially pay and service its outstanding bank loans, pursuant to the Real Estate Mortgage between ABS-CBN and its lenders, it said.ABS-CBN Corp is the parent company of this news website.
