<p>Jollibee revealed Wednesday fraudulent third parties rigged its popular Burger Blowout promo by submitting fake names in order to win the draw. </p><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1192201232939933&amp;set=pb.100064502027904.-2207520000" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1755754617905download.png" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></a></div><p>Jollibee said that during the Week 3 draw, “fraudulent third parties had deliberately exploited the systems in place by submitting multiple unauthorized entries despite existing safeguards.”</p><p>it said the company requested the Department of Trade and Industry’s approval to temporarily suspend the succeeding raffle draws.</p><p>“With DTI’s approval, the invalid major prize winners from the Week 3 draw have been disqualified, and a re-draw will be conducted to ensure fairness and compliance with the rules,” it said in a Facebook post.</p><p>Jollibee said that as a gesture of appreciation to the community, it will also hold a special raffle to give more people a chance to win.</p><p>Schedules for the Week 3 re-draw, Weeks 4-6 draw, and special raffle will be announced soon.</p><div><a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1193937089433014&amp;set=a.640283851465010" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1755754449113535571552_1198192475674142_8834909210933777604_n.jpg" style="width:633px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></a></div><p>The DTI said it will continue to oversee the resumption of the Jollibee Burger Blowout Promo and similar activities “to ensure fairness and transparency in all promotional undertakings.”</p><p>Netizens earlier questioned the results of the Week 3 draw, which saw names such as “Georgianna Cole”, “Celestine Gaylord”, “Albin Powlowski” and “Elaina Kuphal.”</p>
