Diesel could also rise by P0.50 per liter, while kerosene has not shown a possible movement.</p><p>Romero said the possible price adjustment was caused by recent geopolitical tensions, including Israel’s airstrike on Qatar and Russia’s drone raid into Poland.</p><p>The increased production of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allies&#x27; (OPEC+), meanwhile, has failed to deliver its expected impact on the industry, Rodela said. </p><p>“Although nag-increase ng production itong OPEC+ member countries, kaso daw po, sa lower rate na hindi ine-expect ng industry,&quot; she said. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/9/8/oil-prices-up-in-2nd-week-of-september-0845">Oil prices up in 2nd week of September</a></div><div><strong>RELATED  VIDEO:</strong></div><div style="text-align:center"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/FXfsq4Vo6WA?si=YGUNNOhmkfkvDtmt" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><br/></div>
