MANILA -- Metro Pacific Health Corporation, the healthcare arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, now has a majority stake in Metro Antipolo Hospital and Medical Center.In a statement, Metro Pacific Health said it will invest in a new urgent care center for the hospital and open its new cardiac catheterization laboratory, the first private facility of its kind in Rizal.Metro Pacific Health also said it will upgrade the hospital&#x27;s medical equipment, and improve patient experience.Opened in 2016, Metro Antipolo Hospital is a 109-bed hospital that serves patients in Antipolo, Cainta, San Mateo, Binangonan, Taytay, Marikina, and Pasig.It was established as a training hospital for the teaching of specialized physicians, and to address the healthcare needs of nearby residents.This is 28th hospital in Metro Pacific Health&#x27;s portfolio, which also includes Makati Medical Center, Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Asian Hospital and Medical Center, and Manila Doctors Hospital.“We are confident that MAHMC, under the leadership and management of MPH, is poised to achieve even greater things beyond medical expertise,” said its outgoing president Dr. Nelson Bambalan.<div> </div>
