<p>MANILA -- GCash on Thursday said there is no early access for its initial public offering (IPO), after a post online claimed that users can sign up for a &quot;priority waiting list&quot; for its stock market debut.</p><p>In a Facebook post, GCash said its parent company Mynt has yet to file for its public debut.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fwearegcash%2Fposts%2Fpfbid025tFRupzmYfcyQaBLk7it4zxTnjDvquEV24hu8sxir16Rdu2qPbi6FW1ToUQLpJ9Hl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="718" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Earlier this month, Globe said Mynt is open to various capital-raising options, including an IPO. But when that IPO will happen <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/2/25/meralco-eyes-power-distribution-beyond-mega-manila-2146" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">has not been decided yet</a>.</p><p>Last year, Globe also said it was keen on launching the GCash IPO but wanted a lower public float. In response, the Philippine Stock Exchange cut the minimum required <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/3/19/pse-cuts-ipo-minimum-public-float-1711">public float</a> from 20 percent to 15 percent that year. However, the GCash IPO still did not happen.  </p><p>Globe&#x27;s equity share in Mynt grew from P3.8 billion in 2024 to P6.1 billion, accounting for 22 percent of the company&#x27;s pre-tax income.</p><p>But in the last quarter of 2025, Globe’s income from Mynt fell after the Bangko Sentral ordered e-wallet platforms to <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/8/14/bsp-e-wallets-have-until-august-16-to-remove-in-app-links-to-online-gambling-1634" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">delink from e-gambling sites</a>. </p><p>-- with reports from Andrea Taguines, ABS-CBN News</p>
