MANILA -- No Brand stores in the Philippines will be closing by the end of June 2026.In a statement, Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI), the operator of No Brand in the Philippines, said it will stop the operations of its 11 stores by the end of June 2026.Robinsons Retail said this shows the company&#x27;s efforts to &quot;focus on retail formats that deliver strong and sustainable returns.&quot;&quot;RRHI does not expect a material impact on its financial performance from the store closures, as No Brand accounts for approximately 0.2 percent of annual net sales and constitutes a very small portion of the company’s total assets,&quot; it said.&quot;Furthermore, No Brand’s 11 stores are immaterial relative to RRHI’s network of more than 2,700 company-owned stores—including 157 Robinsons Supermarket, 159 Robinsons Easymart, 38 The Marketplace, 16 Shopwise, and 415 Uncle John’s under its food segment—and over 2,100 franchised (The Generics Pharmacy) branches,&quot; it added.RRHI president Stanley Co said this reflects evolving consumer preferences and how customers are choosing to shop across our retail formats. Co said the company remains focused on serving customers by offering relevant products &quot;in the most appropriate formats.&quot;No Brand was introduced to the Philippines in 2019 through a master franchise agreement between Robinsons Retail and South Korea&#x27;s Emart, which owns No Brand.
