<div> </div>MANILA (UPDATE) -- Bank of the Philippine Islands continues to have issues with its electronic banking system, with its mobile banking app and online banking website still inaccessible for many users. On its latest post on Facebook, BPI said that its branches are open to serve customers, and that branch personnel will be able to assist while the bank continues to work on restoring access to the BPI app and BPI online and enable e-commerce transactions.&quot;Our ATMs and Cash Accept Machines are also available to service your cash needs. Your BPI Debit and Credit Cards may also be used at merchant stores. We regret the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your understanding,&quot; the bank said. The bank meanwhile also assured its payroll clients that the system downtime did not impact the crediting of their net take-home pay.  &quot;Payroll credits have been processed as scheduled.  Clients should be able to access their accounts through ATMs, branches, or by using their debit cards for purchases,&quot; BPI said.BPI customers had been reporting problems with the bank&#x27;s electronic channels since Sunday, with many saying they were unable to log in to their account. The Ayala-led lender acknowledged on Sunday that online banking, including the BPI app, use of BPI online credentials on third-party apps and use of BPI Debit and Credit cards for e-commerce, was currently not available.ABS-CBN has reached out to BPI for comment but has yet to receive a reply of this posting.
