Handout</div>MANILA -- SM Prime unit SM Offices is building a new office tower in Quezon City. In a statement, SM said North Tower 3 at the SM North Edsa complex will offer 31,000 square meters of leasable office space.The company added that the building is accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), which means businesses can avail of tax perks and other incentives when they hold office there.North Tower 3 will be connected to the upcoming North Triangle Unified Grand Central Station, a major transport hub connecting LRT Line 1, MRT Line 3, and MRT Line 7, and the Metro Manila Subway. “Companies today are becoming more intentional about where they locate their operations,&quot; SM Offices head Alexis Ortega. &quot;Aside from office space, they are looking for environments that help improve efficiency, accessibility and overall business resilience.&quot;&quot;The synergy between SM Prime’s ecosystem and Quezon City’s business-friendly climate makes a compelling case for locators. Removing day-to-day friction allows them to focus on long-term growth,&quot; he added.SM Offices currently has buildings in Taguig, Clark, Fairview, Ortigas, and other areas. Earlier this year, it said it is adding more than 60,000 square meters of leasable space in <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/2/24/cebu-s-office-space-market-only-2nd-to-bgc-in-growth-sm-prime-1213" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cebu City</a> by the fourth quarter.
