Diesel prices are slated to go up by 2.50 pesos per liter, with Kerosene and Gasoline prices increasing at 2 pesos per liter. <em>Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News </em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — The Department of Energy on Friday presented the projected oil price adjustments for next week, ranging from a P0.80 rollback to up to P1.50 increase.</p><p>DOE Director Rino Abad said the following adjustments may be seen next week based on the first four days of trading on the world market:</p><p>Diesel – P0.81 rollback to P1.20 increase</p><p>Gasoline - P0.50 rollback to P1.50 increase</p><p>Kerosene – P0.50 rollback to P1.40 increase</p><p>Abad explained that the ranges come into consideration of the oil companies’ request not to be mandated with one number adjustments, noting that companies have varying ordering schedules and premium and insurance rates.</p><p>The government controls oil prices since President Ferdinand Marcos signed <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/3/24/marcos-declares-state-of-national-energy-emergency-1927">Executive Order No. 110</a>, declaring a state of national energy emergency due to the Middle East conflict. </p><p>Abad said the ranges allow competition between companies. “On the ground sabi nila, &#x27;Kami na ang bahala mag-compute along the range.
