MANILA -- Chinabank has waived its InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees starting July 9.In a Facebook post, the lender said this covers transactions made via the My CBC app and My CBC Online.At least <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/7/9/metrobank-waives-instapay-pesonet-transfer-fees-1215" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">nine</a> other banks in the Philippines have waived InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees after the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ordered banks to cut interbank fees.In its latest circular, the BSP said fees for person-to-person e-payments across banks, e-wallet operators, and other payment service providers should not be materially different from fees within the same institution. &quot;These institutions must now also have an analysis of their costs for delivering electronic payment products and services,&quot; the BSP said.Aside from banks, digital bank Maya has also lowered its InstaPay transfer from P15 to P10.
