USTDA has worked with PLDT on network expansion and with the Philippine Department of Information and Communications Technology, or DICT, to help expand broadband coverage.Hardy said the agency also wants to bring more trusted American technology and infrastructure solutions to the Philippines.These projects could create opportunities for Filipino engineers, IT professionals, construction workers, and other skilled workers. They may also attract more investment and improve transportation, connectivity, energy, and trade.At the same time, American companies could gain more opportunities to export their technology, products, and services, helping support jobs in the United States.For both countries, the goal is to build stronger infrastructure and a more secure and competitive economic partnership.
