MANILA —  International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) saw its market capitalization reach P2.02 trillion on Wednesday after its share price closed at an all-time high of P999.In a statement, the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) also noted that ICTSI&#x27;s market cap closed at P2.01 trillion the day before. ICTSI earlier exceeded the P1 trillion MCAP on September 17, 2025.&quot;Doubling its market cap less than 10 months after breaching the Php1 trillion market capitalization is nothing short of extraordinary,&quot; said state bourse chief Ramon Monzon. &quot;This performance speaks of confidence in the leadership of ICT Chairman and President, Mr. Enrique K. Razon, Jr., and in the strategic direction of the company as it continues to expand its global port and logistics operations,&quot; he said.In May, ICTSI borrowed <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/5/20/ictsi-borrows-300-billion-from-aiib-1703" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">$300 million</a> from China-backed Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to upgrade three of its container terminals across the country.The ports operator said the funding will grow the capacity of the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) to 3.7 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) by 2027, and that of the Mindanao Container Terminal (MCT) to around 1 million TEUs by 2028.It will also boost the capacity of the South Luzon Container Terminal (SLCT)--still under development in Batangas--to 800,000 TEUs by 2028.Earlier this year, ICTSI&#x27;s <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/2/6/ictsi-s-australian-unit-gets-contract-extension-for-melbourne-port-1520">Australian</a> unit secured a contract extension for Melbourne&#x27;s port.
