MANILA -- The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has signed an agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the faster investigation of financial scams.The agreement establishes the processes by which the DOJ can request and receive financial account information from the BSP’s Consumer Account Protection Office. It also ensures that shared information is used only for authorized purposes and protected in accordance with the law.&quot;For Filipinos, this means quicker action against online scams.
