<p>MANILA — Two forfeited luxury vehicles, owned by POGO operators, were finally sold by the Bureau of Customs.</p><p>Finance Secretary Frederick Go and Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno led the turnover of the two Bugatti Chiron units to new owner Elite Garage Corporation, which bought the vehicles for P205 million in total.</p><p>&quot;Cars that are not used depreciate very fast and devalue very fast... Jekki Pascual, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span></div><p>The money was turned over to the Bureau of the Treasury, which said it can help fund various government projects.</p><p>&quot;Malaking tulong ito sa pamahalaan lalo na’t kailangan natin ng pondo para pondohan yung ating mga programa at mga proyekto ng ating gobyerno lalo na sa panahon ngayon meron tayo krisis,&quot; said Treasurer Sharon Almanza.</p><p>Nepomuceno said the two vehicles underwent several bidding processes. The initial price was higher than the P205 million price at which it was sold. But the official said he was happy that it was finally sold through a transparent process.</p><p>He added the luxury cars were owned by POGO or Philippine offshore gaming operations operators. Two owners are still at large, but cases have been filed against the owners.</p><p>&quot;Dalawang napakamahaling mga sasakyan na ito’y pagmamay-ari ng mga operators ng POGO...
