MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. highlighted the milestones of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program (4PH) during his 2026 State of the Nation Address.  The administration reported that more than 500,000 homes have been built or financed under the flagship program, with Pag-IBIG Fund releasing P517.45 billion in home loans for 379,294 housing units.  &quot;Sa ating programang pabahay, higit limang daang libong bahay ang ating naitayo na at napondohan, kasama ang higit isang daang libong bahay na naidagdag natin sa loob lamang ng isang taon sa ilalim ng pinalawig natin na 4PH program,&quot; President Marcos said. &quot;Susi sa lahat ng ito ang magandang sistema ng pautang, upang gawing mas abot-kaya ang mga pabahay para sa mga Pilipino. Isa na rito ang Pag-IBIG Fund,&quot; the President continued. To broaden access across income segments, Pag-IBIG maintains a subsidized 3 percent rate for socialized housing loans while raising the maximum housing loan ceiling to P10 million. Promotional fixed rates of 4.5 percent and 5.75 percent are also available until year-end.  Housing Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling noted that the accomplishment reflects real impact for Filipino families. &quot;Ang mahigit limang daang libong tahanang naitayo o napondohan... ay hindi lamang bilang. Nangangahulugan ito na mas maraming pamilyang Pilipino ang nabigyan ng pagkakataong magkaroon ng sariling tahanan,&quot; Aliling said.  Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta assured continued prudent management to keep loans affordable. &quot;Nagagawa natin ito dahil sa patuloy na tiwala at pakikibahagi ng ating mga miyembro at sa matatag na kalagayang pinansyal ng Pag-IBIG Fund,&quot; Acosta said.
