MANILA — Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) said it achieved a record net income attributable to equity holders of P3.4 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 5.7 percent year-on-year and surging 130.5 percent quarter-on-quarter as price adjustments and strong demand fueled a profitability rebound.  Consolidated revenues rose 10.7 percent year-on-year to P85.9 billion, while system-wide sales grew 14.2 percent. The fast-food giant’s international segment led system-wide sales with a 25.4 percent expansion, while its Philippine operations grew 5.7 percent, bolstered by strong contributions from Mang Inasal and the flagship Jollibee brand.  The group rebounded sharply from first-quarter margin pressures following pricing and cost-discipline initiatives introduced in April. Gross profit margin improved to 18.5 percent for the quarter—up from 16.5 percent in the first quarter—and reached 19 percent by June.  &quot;Our second-quarter results demonstrate the continued strength of the Jollibee Group&#x27;s global brand portfolio and the resilience of consumer demand across our key markets,&quot; said JFC Chief Executive Officer Ernesto Tanmantiong.  Chief Financial and Risk Officer Richard Shin noted that pricing and productivity measures effectively countered elevated commodity and logistics costs, paving the way for sustained momentum in the second half of the year.  JFC expanded its global store count by 6.4 percent year-on-year to 10,767 locations. The group maintained its full-year system-wide sales growth guidance of 8 to 12 percent, while target gross new store openings were updated to between 1,000 and 1,100 stores.
