MANILA -- Businessman Manny V. Pangilinan on Thursday welcomed recent ABS-CBN Corp. developments, including the announced raising of P6 billion in new equity.ABS-CBN on Wednesday said it would raise P6 billion in new equity, with P2.2 billion from three branches of the Lopez family, P3.5 billion from I&amp;C Holdings Corp an P300 million from Lopez Inc.“That’s good. Good for them,&quot; Pangilinan said on the sidelines of a PLDT media briefing.Pangilinan, chairman of MediaQuest Holdings, also underscored TV5&#x27;s continued partnership with ABS-CBN as well as with several Kapamilya celebrities including Coco Martin and Vice Ganda.He described Vice Ganda as the &quot;Queen of all networks&quot; after the actor signed a creative partnership with MediaQuest Holdings.“He’s across the board- GMA, of course ABS, TV5. We call her the ‘Queen of all networks’,” Pangilinan said.“I complimented Vice Ganda… Comedy is a difficult job because you have to be intelligent to be able to carry on. Complimented him on the show sa Araneta which is about almost 4 hours. And people stayed. That requires talent,” he added.Pangilinan also recalled &quot;Sigabo&quot; star Coco Martin’s visit. Martin’s show is currently airing on TV5, A2Z, ALLTV, and the Kapamilya Channel.“The stars especially Coco Martin came over to Metro Pacific. First time I met him face-to-face, talked to him. He is a smart guy. He knows what’s he’s doing. He’s very industrious. And my god, he’s the hallmark of a good entrepreneur,” Pangilinan said.
