MANILA — Pag-IBIG Fund said its gross housing-related assets hit P1.01 trillion by the end of July.Of the fund’s P1.01 trillion in gross housing-related assets, P971.39 billion consists of housing-related loans, while P38.47 billion consists of other housing-related assets.Pag-IBIG said housing and wholesale loan releases reached P88.84 billion from January to July, up 12 percent from the same period last year.Housing Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees Chair Jose Ramon Aliling said reaching the P1.10 trillion mark is a milestone for Pag-IBIG.&quot;It means more financing is reaching Filipino homebuyers, while qualified developers and institutions receive greater support to provide housing,&quot; he explained. &quot;As investments in housing grow, they also help stimulate the industry, support construction and related sectors, create jobs and contribute to broader economic growth,” he said.Earlier this month, Pag-IBIG partnered with housing developers <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/8/14/pag-ibig-partners-with-amaia-avida-for-more-housing-for-pinoys-1908" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Amaia and Avida</a> to offer more affordable housing for Filipinos.Pag-IBIG also recently raised its maximum housing loan limit to P10 million amid an oversupply of urban property, and to expand affordable credit for middle-income earners.
