<p>MANILA — Philippine Airlines (PAL) will fly directly from Manila to Melbourne starting November 19.</p><p>In a statement, PAL said the flight schedules will be as follows:</p><div><br/></div><p><strong>PR 209 Manila to Melbourne</strong><br/>Departure: 8:20 p.m.<br/>Arrival: 7:30 a.m. (+1 day)</p><div><br/></div><p><strong>PR 210 Melbourne to Manila</strong><br/>Departure: 9:20 p.m.<br/>Arrival: 2:25 p.m.</p><p>PAL said the expanded Melbourne service will also boost cargo capacity on daily flights, supporting Philippine exports and strengthening trade between the Philippines and Australia.</p><p>PAL currently operates the most flights between the Philippines and Australia, with daily services to Brisbane and Sydney, and three weekly flights to <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/business/03/28/23/pal-completes-inaugural-flight-to-perth-australia" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Perth</a>.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/8/21/pal-to-launch-seat-sale-next-week-1825" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PAL to launch seat sale next week</a></div><p>In July, PAL sait it signed a memorandum of Understanding with Boeing to acquire up to 20 widebody 787-10 Dreamliners. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/7/20/pal-inks-deal-with-boeing-for-20-new-planes-2040" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PAL inks deal with Boeing for 20 new planes</a></div><p>It also bought new Rolls-Royce engines for the <a href="http://PAL orders Rolls-Royce engines for new long-haul planes" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">9 new </a>long-haul planes it bought from Airbus.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2026/7/22/pal-orders-rolls-royce-engines-for-new-long-haul-planes-1216" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PAL orders Rolls-Royce engines for new long-haul planes</a></div>
