Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News/File</div>MANILA -- The National Irrigation Administration said they are proactively practicing climate-smart agriculture to prepare for El Niño and La Niña.Speaking to Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, NIA Administrator Eduardo Guillen said they have made changes to the cropping calendar to adapt these to changing climate patterns.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/weather-traffic/2026/4/22/pagasa-issues-el-ni-o-alert-1239">READ: PAGASA issues El Niño Alert</a></div>&quot;Nakita ninyo naman nai-transfer na po natin iyong sa cropping calendar natin, ito iyong nililipat natin ‘no.
