Marcos,&quot; Duterte said in an ambush interview at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center.</p><p>Marcos Jr. on Friday confirmed that he asked lawmakers to refrain from filing an impeachment complaint against the vice-president, claiming that it is &quot;not important.&quot;</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2024/11/29/marcos-says-he-blocked-impeach-moves-vs-vp-sara-duterte-1058">READ: Marcos tells lawmakers not to file impeachment raps against VP Sara Duterte</a></div><p>&quot;This is not important. It will tie down the House, it will tie down the Senate. It will just take up all our time and for what? For nothing, for nothing.
