Nearly 500 faithful attended the final day of Simbang Gabi or Misa De Gallo at the Malacañang grounds in Manila, according to Palace security.During the homily, Rev. Fr. John Paul Echanova emphasized the importance of praying together as a family.&quot;Kapag maayos ang relasyon sa Panginoon, it would easily flow towards our relationship with people, with others, especially our family members,&quot; Fr. Echanova said.He also gave importance to never giving up and holding tight on God&#x27;s promises.&quot;Maraming nag-aaway-away sa paligid natin o kaya wala tayong pera. Okay lang pag andyan ang Diyos sa atin, we can overcome. God will always be there for us,&quot; Fr. Echanova stated.Most of the attendees enjoyed the free Christmas delicacies such as putobumbong, bibingka, and hot chocolate that were given for free. Ricky Fernandez, one of the faithfuls, shared that he had a great time at the palace.&quot;&#x27;Yung bahay ko malapit lang dito eh, walking distance. Tapos may merienda, putobumbong, unli kape at tsokolate,&quot; Fernandez said.A 70-year-old lady also shared her wonderful experience of having completed the 9 days of simbang gabi.&quot;Masayang-masayang po for the first time, 70 years na po ako naka-complete ako,&quot; she mentioned.
