Domingo/Senate Social Media Unit</span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — Senate President Vicente &quot;Tito&quot; Sotto III on Friday said that the selection of the permanent chairperson of the Blue Ribbon panel will be decided by the majority of its members after both Senators Erwin Tulfo and Pia Cayetano expressed openness to lead the powerful committee.</p><p>&quot;We&#x27;ll discuss it one of these days because as soon as Sen. Erwin Tulfo arrives from his official trip abroad, IPU actually, Inter-Parliamentary Union, we will be calling, he will be calling and I asked him to call for a meeting of the committee, the Blue Ribbon Committee,&quot; said Sotto.</p><p>Asked if Cayetano, who chaired the panel from January 2024 to June 2025, will be prioritized, Sotto said, &quot;Ah, we will have to ask the committee to discuss that.
