Four percent said they did not know enough to give an opinion.</p><p>Support for accountability was highest in the Visayas at 54 percent and Metro Manila at 53 percent, followed by the rest of Luzon with 52 percent.</p><p>Only 39 percent agreed in Mindanao, the Dutertes’ bailiwick. </p><p>The September 24-30 survey has a ±3% margin of error. </p><p>The ICC last week <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/10/10/icc-rejects-duterte-s-interim-release-plea-1714">rejected</a> a request from Duterte’s defense team for his interim release on medical grounds. </p><p>ICC prosecutors have charged Duterte with three counts of crimes against humanity, alleging his involvement in at least 76 murders as part of his &quot;war on drugs.&quot;</p><p>Duterte was arrested in Manila on March 11, flown to the Netherlands that same night and has been held at the ICC&#x27;s detention unit at Scheveningen Prison since.</p><p>His lawyer Nicholas Kaufman has said Duterte is not able to stand trial &quot;as a result of cognitive impairment in multiple domains&quot;.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/10/10/defense-raises-concerns-over-icc-medical-report-on-duterte-0735">Defense raises concerns over ICC medical report on Duterte</a></div><p>Kaufman has urged the ICC to postpone proceedings against Duterte indefinitely.</p><div><strong>— With a report from Agence France-Presse </strong></div><div><iframe width="1080" height="608" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Y7zt7FiGIE0" title="ICC rejects Duterte’s request for interim release | ANC" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>
