MANILA — Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Thursday led the inspection of the Pasay City Jail, where contractors, officials and others indicted over the flood control mess might be held.Remulla did a walk-through of the male custodial center, where 14 cells house close to  1,000 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).The ideal capacity of the Pasay City Jail is 103 PDLs but 960 PDLs are currently detained there.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/10/21/-ang-bagal-biz-group-wants-marcos-admin-to-hasten-probe-on-flood-control-mess-1930">&#x27;Ang bagal&#x27;: Biz group piles pressure on Marcos admin to resolve flood control mess </a></div>&quot;Masikip pero tinanong ko warden, yung incidence ng violence mababa naman, yung incidence of disease mababa naman, mainit lang saka masikip talaga kaya tiis-tiis talaga,&quot; he said.(It&#x27;s really cramped but the warden said the incidence of violence and disease is low.
