MANILA — A Bacoor court has found actor Archie Alemania guilty of <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/10/31/rita-daniela-files-acts-of-lasciviousness-complaint-vs-archie-alemania-1710">acts of lasciviousness </a>in a case filed against him by actress Rita Daniela.The court sentenced Alemania to up to one year of jail time and ordered him to pay the complainant P20,000 in civil indemnity and P20,000 in moral damages.“Of course, we are very happy with the decision. Rita fought and she attained justice,” said Daniela’s lawyer Maggie Abraham-Garduque. Daniela and Alemania had starred in a television series.The actress accused Alemania of sexually violating her and making repeated inappropriate remarks during a ride home from a gathering in 2024.Daniela shared a screenshot of her message to the actor after the incident, where she said she felt disrespected and violated by him. In the screenshot, Alemania could be seen apologizing to Daniela, saying he was drunk.
