<p>MANILA<strong> (UPDATED)</strong> — The police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group has filed Inciting to Sedition and Inciting to Rebellion complaints against Cavite Rep. Robert Morico II, CIDG director, confirmed that a criminal complaint was filed against Barzaga &quot;in relation to the violent incidents which occurred in Mendiola and Recto, Manila on September 21, 2025.&quot;</p><p>Morico, however, declined to provide further details, saying it would be inappropriate to comment while the complaint is undergoing preliminary investigation.</p><p>“We are refrained from issuing statements relative to the said criminal complaint as it may preempt or influence the outcome of the preliminary investigation pending before the city prosecutor,” he added.</p><p>Barzaga, who has positioned himself as an anti-corruption figure, tagged President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on the Facebook post and said:</p><p>&quot;How many people have your father killed or imprisoned before he was removed from power?
