<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/176333378795020251116221140_incrally 00.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/176333380381020251116221140_inc rally.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>MANILA — Thousands of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members who camped overnight at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila prepared early Monday for the second day of the group’s three-day rally calling for transparency in government.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/16/crowd-at-inc-quirino-grandstand-rally-swells-to-45-000-1445">Crowd at INC Quirino Grandstand rally swells to over 600,000</a></div><p>Tents, sleeping mats, and makeshift resting areas filled the Quirino Grandstand grounds as participants camped before dawn for the morning program. </p><p>Families, youth groups, and elder members—many of whom traveled from nearby provinces—said that staying overnight was necessary to secure space and fully participate in the day’s activities.</p><p>Crowds continued to swell throughout the day, with organizers expecting even more attendees from Metro Manila districts and neighboring regions to join the rally’s second-day program.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/yHhZhccsFOU?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div><div><br/></div><p>Public facilities in the area saw heavy use, with long lines forming at restrooms inside the Quirino Grandstand on Sunday night, November 17.</p><p>Several participants also reported that portable toilets placed along the perimeter had begun to overflow.</p><p>Among those who spent the night on the grounds were vendors taking advantage of the steady flow of people.</p><p>Renz Danao, an INC member from Tondo, who also helped his parents sell food and drinks at the venue, said business had been consistent since yesterday.</p><p>“Medyo malakas po yung benta… nasa ₱2,000 na,” he told ABS-CBN News.</p><p>He said their family chose to set up a stall in anticipation of the surge of participants.</p><p>“Naisip po kasi ng magulang ko na since maraming pupunta dito, magiging malakas po ang tinda,” he said.</p><p>Danao also shared why he joined the gathering.</p><p>“Karamihan po sa mga Pilipino, nakakaranas ng pagmamalupit ng nakaupo sa gobyerno. Kaya gusto po namin makipagkaisa sa ginagawang aktibidad ng pamamahala na gawing transparent,” he said, adding that he hopes the rally will lead to meaningful reforms.</p><p>As of 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, around 120,000 attendees camped out in the vicinity of the Quirino Grandstand, according to the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).</p><p>Officials expect the number to further rise as the event continues.</p><p>The rally will run until tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18.</p><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Hj4Koh85pxY?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
