Imee Marcos after his sister accused the First Family of drug use without showing proof.</p><p>“Let’s just wait and see. As of now, we do not have any plan of making any legal action against her. So, let’s just wait,” Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro told Palace reporters a day after Sen. Marcos issued the statement in a protest against corruption.</p><p>“Let us check first all the facts and the statements that she made. And it’s up to the Department of Justice, and maybe Ombudsman if they will make any initiative to end this matter,” she said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/18/malaca-ang-denies-marcos-jr-s-drug-use-amid-sister-imee-s-allegations-0026">Malacañang denies Marcos Jr.&#x27;s &#x27;drug use&#x27; amid sister Imee’s allegations</a></div><p>Palace officials had repeatedly belied Sen. Marcos’ accusations and described it as defamation without any basis.</p><p>“Yung kasinungalingan naman talaga kitang kita niyo naman po. This is the same playbook ng kaniyang mga kaalyado,” she said, without naming any of the senator’s supposed allies.</p><p>“Ang ating Pangulo ay nag-donate ng kaniyang kidney sa kaniyang ama. Paano makakapag-donate ng kidney ang isang tao na hindi healthy?” the Palace officials said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/18/sandro-marcos-calls-out-tita-imee-for-betraying-family-over-political-ambitions-0829">Sandro Marcos calls out &#x27;tita&#x27; Imee for &#x27;betraying&#x27; family over political ambitions</a></div><p>There has been little report about Marcos Sr.’s supposed kidney transplant, but several news articles have said that Marcos Jr. claimed in a 2002 television interview that he donated one of his kidneys to their father.</p><p>Meanwhile, Malacañang said it remained confident that recent political bickering within the Marcos family would neither affect the sentiment of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the international community towards the incumbent administration.</p><p>“Sila ay nag-a-assess, nag-e-evaluate gamit ang tamang data, ang tamang facts so ang maaaring mabudol lang nito ay yung mga taong hindi nag-iisip at may isa lang na adhikain na gibain ang admin ng Pangulo,” Castro said.</p><p>“Ang mga sinabi ay walang basehan… Kwentong walang kwenta, kwentong kutsero so bakit magkakaroon ng pag-aalala ang AFP?” she said.</p><p>“Hinid dapat seryosohin ang mga kwento ni Sen.
