Courtesy of Godwin via Christopher Sitson, ABS-CBN News</div><div> </div>MANILA — Some passengers had to walk along the MRT-3 tracks due to a technical issue on Tuesday morning, November 18.Before the train reached Ortigas Ave. Station, the MRT-3 had already halted according to some passengers.About an hour reportedly passed before passengers were finally allowed to get off and were assisted toward Ortigas Ave. Station.According to MRT-3, a technical issue occurred before 6 a.m. between the Santolan and Ortigas southbound interstations.Assistance was provided to affected passengers.The MRT-3 maintenance team conducted thorough safety checks and repairs to restore full service.As of 8:00 a.m., MRT-3 announced that it had resumed normal operations, with a maximum operating speed of 60 kph along the line.A free ride will be offered to all passengers for the entire day.They also extended their sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.
