<p>MANILA — Quezon City First District Rep. Arjo Atayde and Caloocan City Third District Rep. Dean Asistio on Tuesday faced the Independent Commission for Infrastructure to fight allegations linking them to flood control anomalies.</p><p>The lawmakers were among the politicians accused by contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya of soliciting money from their construction empire during a Senate hearing in September.</p><p>Atayde said the allegations were “all hearsay”. Hindi ako magtatago, hindi ako iiwas, hindi ako lilipad ng ibang bansa. I told the people I&#x27;ll answer at the proper forum, at the proper time. This is it po,” the lawmaker said.</p><p>“I don&#x27;t want to invalidate the feelings of the people towards the gravity of the situation if I deny.
