I-treat sila kagaya ng karamihan,&quot; Remulla said, assuring the public that no special treatment would be accorded even to prominent suspects.</p><p>Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., the acting Philippine National Police chief, said the police force continues to enforce the court&#x27;s directives through ongoing operations to serve arrest warrants.</p><p>Nartatez stressed that the PNP remains firm in ensuring accountability and due process in every enforcement action.</p><p>&quot;We will carry out our mandate professionally, transparently, and in accordance with the rule of law. The PNP will continue to pursue all those with outstanding warrants until these orders of the court are executed,&quot; he said in a statement. <strong></strong></p><div><br/></div><div><strong>7 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY; 1 POSTED BAIL</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>The DILG said that seven suspects in the flood control controversy are now in Bureau of Jail Management and Penology facilities.</p><p>Six male suspects — Gerald Pacanan, Gene Ryan Altea, Ruben delos Santos Jr., Dominic Serrano, Felisardo Casuno, and Engr. Dennis Abagon — were transferred to the New Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory in Payatas.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/24/6-dpwh-officials-detained-in-qc-jail-over-289-5-m-oriental-mindoro-flood-control-anomaly-2144">6 DPWH officials detained in QC jail over Oriental Mindoro flood control anomaly</a></div><p>The lone female suspect, Lerma Cayco, is detained at the Camp Caringal Female Dormitory.</p><p>All seven face charges of plunder, graft, and indirect bribery before the Sixth and Seventh Divisions of the Sandiganbayan.</p><p>Another suspect, who was accused of falsifying documents, posted bail and will be tried before the Fifth Division of the anti-graft court.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>SUSPECTS ABROAD GIVEN ULTIMATUM</strong></div><div><br/></div><p>Remulla said several suspects remain at large in the United States and Qatar.</p><p>They have been given until Thursday to surrender at the nearest Philippine embassy.</p><p>&quot;We have copies of their passports, mahahanap namin sila kahit saan sila magpunta,&quot; he said.</p><p>Authorities continue to track alleged mastermind and former Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Kailangan mong managot sa batas,&quot; Remulla said.</p><div> </div><div><strong>OBSTRUCTION PROBE </strong></div><div><br/></div><p>One suspect was arrested inside the home of Bansud, Oriental Mindoro Vice Mayor Alma Mirano, prompting an investigation into possible obstruction of justice involving the local official, household members, and staff.</p><p>Remulla urged the public to stop aiding fugitives.</p><p>&quot;Huwag n&#x27;yo na po tulungan ang mga nagtatago.
