Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/File</div>MANILA -- More lawmakers are publicly backing House Speaker Faustino &ldquo;Bojie&rdquo; Dy III, with 42 Southern Luzon and Bicol region lawmakers expressing support through manifestos.A total of 28 congressmen from Southern Luzon signed a manifesto to show &ldquo;full and unequivocal support&rdquo; for Dy.&ldquo;We cannot but overemphasize the importance of stable leadership in Congress, and Speaker Bojie has been a bastion of stability in these trying times of the country,&rdquo; the manifesto reads.Among the signatories are Quezon 1st District Representative Wilfrido Enverga and Rizal 3rd District Representative Jose Arturo Garcia Jr.Meanwhile, 14 lawmakers from the Bicol bloc signed a manifest of &ldquo;unequivocal support&rdquo; to show &ldquo;readiness to continue working with&rdquo; the House speaker. &nbsp;These include Ako Bicol party-list Representative Alfredo Garbin Jr. and Bicol Saro party-list Representative Terry Ridon.Back in November, 39 congressmen from the Northern Luzon Alliance, including House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos, signed a manifesto showing support for Dy amid rumors of a change in leadership.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/4/97-mindanao-metro-manila-congressmen-back-house-speaker-dy-1828">READ: 97 Mindanao, Metro Manila congressmen back House Speaker Dy</a></div>
