Walang mapapala sa pagtatago because no matter how long you are able to hide, the fact remains that you are still wanted and could be arrested anytime,” Nartatez said in a statement.</p><p>He cited past fugitives, such as Rolito Go, who evaded authorities for years but were eventually arrested, as examples that the PNP will continue to pursue all individuals wanted by the courts.</p><p>President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. earlier ordered the PNP and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to prepare for the possible issuance of arrest warrants against Discaya and other accused in the flood control project scam.</p><p>Discaya surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Tuesday, December 9, even though no arrest warrant had yet been issued against her.</p><p>Nartatez stressed that the PNP fully supports coordination with the NBI and other law enforcement agencies in apprehending other accused individuals and fugitives linked to the flood control case and other high-profile criminal investigations.</p><p>“The NBI is a law enforcement agency and we have the same objective in all matters pertaining to the flood control projects.”</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aTQj71M4TaA?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
