Photo courtesy of Mark Arjay ReyesMANILA — Investigators from the Special Investigation Team of the Quezon City Police District questioned the boyfriend and brother of missing bride-to-be Sherra De Juan for more than seven hours as part of the investigation.</div>In separate rooms at Camp Karingal, Sherra’s boyfriend, Mark Arjay Reyes, and her brother, Darie De Juan, simultaneously underwent thorough questioning by investigators from 9:00 p.m. until around 4:00 a.m.Reyes said investigators focused on possible reasons behind Sherra’s disappearance, including whether she may have left on her own or was taken.“Kung ano possible na reason kung bakit umalis si Sarah, kung bakit possible na nakuha siya, ano &#x27;yung state nya kung mayroon unusual, &#x27;yun mga usual na tinatanong,” Reyes said.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/14/bride-to-be-in-quezon-city-goes-missing-four-days-before-wedding-1952">Bride-to-be in Quezon City goes missing four days before wedding</a></div>Darie said investigators also asked whether the family noticed anything unusual with Sherra&#x27;s behaviour or actions before she disappeared.“Sabi ko naman wala kami napapansin  kasi ang puro naming pinag-uusapan  about doon sa kasal na mangyayari sa kaniya. Excited nga &#x27;yun nagpaplano kami ng sayaw na gagawi,” Darie said.To dispel any suspicions against him, Reyes said he is ready to face all investigations being conducted by authorities.“Kung mapupunta po sa akin, okay lang po. Unang-una po, lagi po namin sinasabi kami po magkakapamilya po ang nakakaaalam, ako po personally nakausap niya that day, lagi niya nakakasama. Wala naman po ako dapat ikatakot kung sakaling ang imbestigasyon ay mapapunta sa akin,” Reyes said.The Romblon Police is also assisting in the search for Sherra.Some believe the missing bride-to-be may have gone back to their home province, but relatives there have reportedly denied seeing her.Nearly a week has passed since Sherra disappeared, and Reyes and the family of his fiancée have searched various areas but have failed to locate her.“Buong Fairview po, may times po na umabot kami sa Bulacan area, Caloocan area, chineck po namin lahat ng possible hospitals  na pwdeng dalhin  outside Metro” Reyes said.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/15/police-form-special-team-to-investigate-missing-bride-in-quezon-city-1242?fbclid=IwY2xjawOt0FZicmlkETFzWURsREdZSGllSmJWTTJxc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHhxJWRGQ1M2q0-eVFwdoARhj5vR0GKfegXbnrWitYBqfP32tE7lMX6FHl_7n&amp;brid=sy5tepa_LRszrW1lQ_YizA">Police form special team to investigate missing bride in Quezon City</a></div>Darie added that two salesladies at Fairview Center Mall claimed they saw Sherra on the day she was reported missing.“Mayroon kami mga nakausap doon na  mga saleslady na yun nga daw naging customer nga daw nila yung kapatid ko, tumingin nga daw talaga doon ng bridal shoes pero hindi nakapag fitting kaya hindi nakabili,” Darie said.Authorities are set to take sworn statements from the salesladies as part of their investigation.Police have also taken Sherra’s laptop for forensic examination.  Last Sunday, Reyes turned over Sherra’s cellphone to investigators.As of now, authorities have yet to release information that could clarify Sherra’s disappearance.“Ang sabi po sa amin marami po nakakalat na personnel  on the ground to check po possible CCTV,“ Reyes said.The reward for information leading to Sherra’s whereabouts has been raised to ₱50,000.With authorities now intensifying their efforts and more people joining the search, Reyes is optimistic his fiancée will be found soon.
