Harry Roque on Sunday denounced the Philippine government’s request to circulate a Red Notice against him, branding the move as “political retaliation” and a violation of international law.“I vehemently oppose the request of the Philippine government to issue and circulate a Red Notice against me,” Roque said in a statement.Roque said that he is a “protected bona fide asylum seeker under Dutch and European Union law, supported by official documentation from the Immigration and Naturalisation Service.”Roque&#x27;s passport was cancelled on November 24, along with that of Cassandra Ong. <div><a class="fr-green" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/25/reports-on-harry-roque-arrest-netherlands-1625">Harry Roque denies arrest rumors</a></div>Roque argued that the non-bailable “syndicate trafficking” charge filed against him is fabricated and politically motivated. “The allegation forms part of a political retaliation by the current administration against staunch Duterte allies and vocal Marcos Jr. critics.
