Eh bakit ayaw nila lumaban sa amin sa debate?  Tagabili lang pala kami ng suka eh. Kinakatakutan nila kami sa debate, absent sila. Tapos meron pa silang lakas ng loob mangutya?&quot; Espiritu said ahead of their proclamation rally at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani. </p><p>&quot;Eh pag sama-sama mo yung mga utak ng lahat ng mga yan. Pag sama-sama mo, walang mabuting madudulot sa Senado mga yan,&quot; he added.</p><p>Espiritu called the President arrogant as he expressed confidence in their Senate bid.</p><p>&quot;Makapasok lang kami sa Senado, gugulong ang ulo ng mga lahat ng dynastiya na yan. Pinabili ng suka ah. Sige tingnan natin yung mga pabili ng suka kung anong magagawa sa inyo kapag makapasok kami sa Senado,&quot; he said. </p><p>De Guzman also described the senatorial lineup backed by the administration as cowards.</p><p>&quot;Eh mga duwag naman sila eh. Okay lang sila sa pasayaw-sayaw, pakanta-kanta, pakuha-kuha ng artista. Pero wala naman silang ma-offer sa problema ng bansa,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Ilang beses na silang nagpapalit-palit sa gobyerno, pabalik balik nalang. Merong limang beses na bumalik sa Senado, wala naman kayong nagawa para sa bayan. Wala naman kayong nagawa para sa mahihirap,&quot; the labor leader added.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/2/16/leody-de-guzman-makes-rounds-in-qc-to-woo-voters-1338">READ: Leody de Guzman makes rounds in QC to woo voters</a></div><p>De Guzman cited the high prices of electricity, water, basic goods and the other issues that the poor continue to experience due to traditional politicians and political dynasties.</p><p>&quot;Wala kayong nireresolve, ang rineresolve niyo ang problema ng kapwa niyo magnanakaw at mga kapwa niyo mayayaman. &#x27;Yun lang ang kaya niyong i-resolve. Pero ang problema ng sambayanang Pilipino, hindi niyo nireresolve. Niloloko niyo lang ang mga mamamayang Pilipino na bumoboto sa inyo,&quot; he said.</p><p>During the rally, Espiritu took a swipe at Marcos Jr. again in relation to his remark. </p><p>&quot;Sinabi ni Bongbong Marcos pinabili lang daw tayo ng suka tapos nagkaroon daw tayo ng COC para sa senador…. Papayag ba kayo na tayo ay minamaliit ni Bongbong Marcos?,&quot; he asked, to which the crowd replied no.</p><p>&quot;Kapag sinasabi niya [Bongbong Marcos] na para lang tayong pinabili ng suka, parang hindi niya nakikita. Para tayong singaw sa mundong ito,&quot; he said.</p><p>Espiritu called on supporters to make their voice heard by electing labor leaders and sectoral representatives in the Senate. </p><p>&quot;Kapag tayo ay naluklok, papakita namin kay Bongbong Marcos, hindi kami taga-hatid ng suka.
