Dahil marami kaming base, gamitin sila sa pangangampanya sa pamamamagitan ng social media. Kaya yun ang aming priority ng pangangampanya yung social media na siyang nadedevelop ngayon. Yun ang kaya namin ngayon dahil libre,” he said.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/2/16/leody-de-guzman-makes-rounds-in-qc-to-woo-voters-1338">Leody de Guzman makes rounds in QC to woo voters</a></div><p>De Guzman hopes social media will give them a boost since they do not have the money and machinery of other senatorial candidates.</p><p>&quot;Kaya ang gagamitin talaga namin yung aming base at yung nade-develop na paglakas ng social media sa ngayon. Yun ang aming paraan para ipaabot yung aming programa, yung aming plataporma, yung mga poster namin. Doon na namin inidadaan sa social media,&quot; he said.</p><p>&quot;Yun ang kailangan naming ginagawa ngayon, social media at pakikipag-usap sa iba-ibang organisasyon ng masa para ipaabot ang  aming panawagan na hindi dapat puro mayayaman at mga sikat ang ilagay sa Senado. Dahil sa mahabang panahong nasubukan na natin sila, wala namang ginawa para sa mahihirap. Kailangan nanggaling sa sektor ng mahihirap, para gumawa ng batas para sa mahihirap,&quot; De Guzman added.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/2/16/kmu-s-adonis-woos-voters-despite-few-resources-shrinking-space-for-progressives-1411">KMU’s Adonis woos voters despite few resources, ‘shrinking’ space for progressives</a></div><p>He called on supporters to share not only their promotional materials but also their interviews so more people can find out about their campaign and advocacies.</p><p>De Guzman said they will also take advantage of partnerships with like-minded groups and coalitions who also seek change.</p><p>The labor leader said his campaign promises are still the same as when he ran for president in the 2022 elections.</p><p>&quot;Pareho pa rin kasi wala namang nabago. Kahit nakailang senado na, nakailang pagpapalit-palit na ng mga senador, wala namang in-address sila na problema ng mga mahirap. Hindi nila in-address ang problema ng mataas na kuryente, mataas na presyo ng bigas, mataas na presyo ng gulay, yung land grabbing hindi nila na-resolve, yung mababang sahod hindi nila na-resolve, yung demolition sa bahay ng maralita hindi nila naharangan,&quot; De Guzman said.</p><p>&quot;At yun ang isang dahilan kung bakit bagama&#x27;t tumakbo na akong presidente, ay tumakbo pa rin ako ngayon dahil hindi ko matanggap na ang babalik na naman sa senado ay mga politikong mayayaman at sikat na wala namang ginawa sa problema ng mga mahirap,&quot; he added.</p><p>The labor leader responded to questions on his ranking in recent pre-election surveys, where he is outside &quot;Magic 12.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Normal naman yun dahil wala kaming sapat na pondo, hindi naman kami nakapuwesto sa gobyerno tulad ng iba, na nagagamit nila yung kailang malaking pera na kahit sa panahon ng pre-campaign ay nakapagpapapropaganda na sila. Actually mukhang tapos na sila ng pagpapakilala sa ating mga mamayan,&quot; De Guzman said.</p><p>&quot;Kaya mainly talaga sa ngayon ang available sa amin ay yung paggalaw, pagkilos, pangampanya ng aming membership using social media,&quot; he added.</p><p>De Guzman on Sunday conducted house-to-house visits and consultations in Brgy.
