Seo In-guk becomes PH's tourism ambassador for Korea

<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:958px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1740116964727Snapinst.app_430330673_932323788552503_7980951082544053886_n_1080.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner"> Seo In-guk. <em>Instagram/@seo_cccc</em></span></span></span></div><div><br/></div><p>MANILA — South Korean singer and actor Seo In-guk will serve as the Philippines Celebrity Tourism Ambassador for Korea after he signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Tourism (DOT) on Friday.</p><p>According to DOT, they aim to &quot;enhance the Philippines&#x27; appeal as a travel destination for South Korean market&quot; by collaborating with Seo who is best known for his roles in the series &quot;Reply 1997&quot; (2012), &quot;The Master&#x27;s Sun&quot; (2013) and &quot;Hello Monster&quot; (2015).</p><p>Further boosting his stardom, Seo In-guk will also <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/movies-series/2025/2/20/jisoo-and-seo-in-guk-s-new-k-drama-boyfriend-on-demand-coming-soon-on-netflix-1131">pair with Blackpink&#x27;s Jisoo in the upcoming romcom &quot;Boyfriend on Demand&quot;</a>.</p><p>The DOT said Seo In-guk&#x27;s travel in major Philippine tourist spots would be part of future promotional activities.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/people/celebrities/korean-actor-singer-seo-in-guk-love-love-album/33419">Fall In Love With Korean Superstar Seo In Guk More With &#x27;LOVE&amp;LOVE&#x27;</a></div><p>Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said Seo&#x27;s designation as tourism ambassador &quot;strengthens the cultural and tourism exchanges between the Philippines and Korea.&quot; </p><p>&quot;South Korean has long been the top source market for the Philippines, and the Philippines for a thriving Korean community even as Filipinos love many things from Korea,&quot; she said.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/life/09/03/23/korea-hopes-more-filipinos-will-visit-this-winter">S.
