No leader, regardless of position or influence, should be above the law. Holding government leaders accountable is not about political vendetta; it is about ensuring that justice prevails in our country,” he stated.</p><p>Duterte is currently at the International Criminal Court&#x27;s detention center at The Hague in the Netherlands. He is facing a complaint on crimes against humanity of murder in relation to alleged killings in his years-long brutal drug war.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/10/12/bato-says-he-has-no-idea-about-reward-system-for-cops-in-drug-war-1032">Bato says he has &#x27;no idea&#x27; about alleged reward system for cops in drug war</a></div><p>The ICC only mentioned about 43 alleged EJK cases, though right groups said there were around 30,000 killings recorded.</p><p>A hearing to confirm the charges is set at September 23.</p>
