Mahigit P400,000 na halaga ng shabu ang nasabat sa isang 22-anyos na lalaki sa buy-bust operation ng PNP sa Batasan Hills, Quezon City noong Biyernes ng gabi, April 4, 2025.Naaresto ang suspek sa isang eskenita sa Barangay Batasan Hills matapos bentahan ng P12,000 halaga ng shabu ang isang poseur buyer.Narekober sa lalaki ang 60 gramo ng shabu, isang baril na kargado ng mga bala, cellphone, buy-bust money, at iba pang gamit.Ayon sa PNP, ang karaniwang parokyano ng suspek ay mga drayber at mga street level individual na residente ng Batasan Hills, Commonwealth at kalapit barangay.&quot;Malaki ang transaksyon niya kasi mababa sa limang gramo ang ibinebenta niya sa mga parokyano niya,&quot; sabi ni Batasan Police Deputy Station Commander Police Captain Glenn Gonzales.&quot;Base rin sa imbestigasyon namin, ang taong ito ay lider siya ng grupo na sangkot sa pagbebenta ng ilegal na droga sa lugar at sa Barangay Commonwealth,&quot; dagdag ni PCpt. Gonzales.Nakulong na rin ang lalaki taong 2021 at 2023 dahil sa panghoholdap at pagkakasangkot sa ilegal na droga.Aminado naman ang suspek na gumagamit siya ng ilegal na droga pero itinangging lider siya ng grupo.&quot;Sa ano lang po ng barkada po. Wala po ako ngayong trabaho eh,&quot; sabi ng suspek.Hindi na siya nagbigay ng pahayag hinggil sa pagtutulak ng ilegal na droga at nakumpiskang baril.Hawak na ng Batasan Police Station ang suspek na mahaharap sa reklamong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act at Omnibus Election Code.
