<p>MAYNILA -- Sinisiguro ng National Capital Region Police Office na handa ang kapulisan sa Kalakhang Maynila sa gaganaping midterm elections sa Lunes.</p><p>Ayon kay NCRPO Regional Director P/BGen Anthony Aberin, magdedeploy sila ng 23,000 pulis sa Metro Manila upang mapanatili ang seguridad kaugnay ng eleksyon.</p><p>Siniguro din ni Aberin na tutulong din sila sa paghuli ng mga vote buyers bagama&#x27;t mangangailangan sila ng tulong mula sa mga stakeholder at election officials na nakapwesto sa mga presinto.</p><p>&quot;Magde-deploy tayo ng mahigit 23,000 personnel coming from NCRPO, most of them are deployed na po. Sila po ay dineploy natin sa mga polling precincts, canvassing areas at heavily congested areas po sa Metro Manila,&quot; sabi ni Aberin sa Teleradyo Serbisyo. </p><p>&quot;Binabantayan din po natin ang vote buying. Pero we have to understand po na ang pulis natin ay stationary po sa isang lugar. &#x27;Yung vote buying po ay aasa tayo sa ating mga kababayan, sa mga stakeholders po kung may reported na alleged na vote buying ay doon natin aaksyunan. May mga naka tala pong members ng Comelec para aksyunan ng ganitong klase ng reklamo.&quot;</p><p>Pgdating naman sa Comelec gun ban, iniulat ni Aberin na bumaba ang kaso ng mga nahuhuli nilang nagdadala ng baril.</p><p>&quot;Sa actual check point operations po, 11 lang po ang naaresto sa Comelec check points natin. Pero dito sa mga other law enforcement operations natin umabot sa almost 1,000. Ito po yung mga ordinardyong krimen na nagaganap na may nahuhuling baril,&quot; aniya.</p><p>Wala pa din namang nasisita sa liquor ban bagama&#x27;t sa Lunes pa naman daw ng umaga siya inaasahang may papasok na ulat.</p><p>Sinabi rin ni Aberin na tuloy-tuloy din ang deployment ng NCRPO para naman sa pagsawata ng kriminalidad sa Kalakhang Maynila.</p><p>&quot;Hindi naman tayo magpupull out sa mga deployment natin sa mga kalsada at subdibisyon. Iba po ang deployment natin sa anti-criminality at law enforcement at iba naman yung connected sa election,&quot; aniya.</p><p>&quot;Magpagayun pa man ipinapaalala natin lang natin sa ating mga kababayan, &#x27;wag magsabay sabay sa pagboto dahil iiwan po natin ang ating bahay na nakatiwangwag,&quot; ayon sa NCRPO executive.</p><p>&quot;I presume &#x27;yung pagbobotohan ay malapit din naman.
