Cynthia Villar reveals advice to daughter Camille in 2025 senatorial race

<div><br/></div><p>MANILA – Senator Cynthia Villar and her husband former Senate President Manny Villar <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/5/11/manny-villar-philippines-wealthiest-filipino-and-wife-cast-vote-in-2025-polls-0629">cast their votes</a> during the early voting hours of the 2025 midterm elections. </p><p>They arrived at the Las Piñas City National Science High School past 5 in the morning to exercise their right.</p><p>The Villar matriarch told reporters she did not experience any issues while voting. “Okay naman, efficient,” she said in an interview after voting. </p><p>“Maganda naman nauna &#x27;yung mga senior citizen eh. Maaga pa hindi mainit. Saka hindi kasama sa gulo,” she added. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/5/11/early-voting-for-senior-citizens-pwds-pregnant-moms-begins-0450">Early voting for senior citizens, PWDs, pregnant moms begins</a></div><p>The Villar matriarch is running for Las Piñas district representative, a post she previously held for years.</p><p>“It depends sa mga Las Piñeros. Ine-expect ko iboboto nila ako. I’ve done so much,” she shared.</p><p>Now that they are done voting, she said they will just go home and wait for the results.</p><div><strong>SUPPORT FOR CAMILLE</strong></div><p>The Villar matriarch said they gave enough support to their daughter, Rep. Siyempre expected namin manalo siya,” she said.</p><p>The senator shared the advice she gave to her daugther, who is seeking a seat in the upper chamber.</p><p>“Be hardworking tapos patient. Pag nanalo siya, don’t forget that she has to serve well para ma-remember siya ng tao at hindi magsisi na binoto siya,” she said. </p><p>Villar told her daughter to relax while waiting for the results.</p>
