Handout/Marikina LGU</div>MANILA – Marcy Teodoro on Tuesday afternoon was proclaimed as Marikina’s First District representative following delays.Photos shared by Marikina’s local government unit (LGU) showed Teodoro taking his oath of office at the Marikina Justice Hall, accompanied by wife Maan and supporters.Teodoro’s supporters earlier in the day flocked to the city’s Commission on Elections (Comelec) office to protest the delay of his proclamation by Marikina’s board of canvassers.The Comelec en banc earlier today issued a certificate of finality formally lifting Teodoro’s suspension of proclamation, following the poll body’s resolution of his residency issues last week.The document states that the en banc’s decision promulgated on June 25 is “immediately executory” under the Comelec’s rules.
