Department of Migrant Workers/Facebook" style="width:960px"/><span class="fr-inner" spellcheck="false" style="text-align:left">Eleven of the 17 Filipino seafarers from MV Magic Seas arrive in the Philippines Saturday night, July 12. <em>Department of Migrant Workers/Facebook</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — The remaining 11 of the 17 Filipino seafarers from MV Magic Seas arrived in the Philippines Saturday night, July 12, completing the repatriation of all Filipinos aboard the ship that Houthis attacked.</p><p>They were provided with health checks and training vouchers from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) upon arrival.</p><p>Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said the seafarers will also receive immediate financial assistance, reintegration services, medical check-ups and psychosocial counseling. </p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/7/11/6-of-17-filipino-seafarers-from-mv-magic-seas-arrive-in-ph-1841">Six of the 17 seafarers</a> arrived in the country last Friday.</p><p>The MV Magic Seas was attacked by Yemen’s Houthis on July 6, which led to the ship’s sinking.
